lyrics
Roots/begin to pull/Mankind/Deep under/Bury 6 feet/To fertilize/And finally give/After taking so much/Man has been given/So many chances/But has ultimately led to destruction/Now it is time to take back/Wash away these footprints/Cover in soil/water, dirt, flora/Is all that remains loyal/Can we show remorse?/For how we’ve behaved over the course/Of this time we’ve been here/We must/We must try again

If you told me that Dischordia shared members with Dysrhythmia I'd believe it without checking. Angular, dissonant constructions that give no fucks about human enjoyment. I need more. Ghuughra
Even in its prettiest, most celestial moments, the South Dakota trio's sound feels dark and dense and deeply rooted. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 24, 2021

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
